Hello. So this is me, Sonya Dugal, and this a blog about my Peace Corp adventures in Ghana! Woo. i’ve just graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York, where I got a BFA in graphic design. I desperately needed a break from school and have always wanted to do the PC and am so happy that I was invited to serve. I’ll be leaving in June 2009 to move to Ghana where I’ll be teaching art to deaf children. Words cannot express how happy and lucky I am to have gotten a program that is art based! WOOOO.
I’ll try to update this thing as often as possible, but in the mean time, feel free to write me (sonyadugal@gmail.com), comment, send me care packages (I love sour patch kids), …anything of the sorts.

When you visit the Ghana Cultural Arts Center in Accra, be sure to stop by Shop #91 and say Hello to my good friend Mohammed Dantani. Tell him “Prof Clerico” sends his best regards to him, his brother and his father.
Let me know when you’ll be visiting Cape Coast School for the Deaf. I have good friends in Cape Coast.
Have an incredible adventure!
